If the label is gone, we measure the visible glass width and height, plus the sash thickness, and cross-reference against ViewLux’s published spec sheets. For glass packs and frame extrusions, we recommend staying OEM because the Low-E coatings and spacer widths are tuned to the original frame tolerances. Signs Your ViewLux Window Installation Is Failing

Window balances and tilt latches are low-tension enough that a careful homeowner can replace them, which is why we will tell you straight: if you have a balance or latch problem and you are comfortable working with vinyl frame parts, you can buy the part and do it yourself. The risk is not injury for those components. The risk is dropping a sash, cracking a vinyl corner, or pinching a finger, and then calling us anyway for a bigger job than the original repair.
What you should not DIY is glass pack replacement on a sealed ViewLux unit. Those packs are under gas fill pressure and the frame channels are tight.
